Hello my name is Rehema Ziiwa and i would like to be called Remmy. I moved from Uganda to the UK as a young adult and
I live in London with my 4 very well behaved children who range from university going age to primary school. I am very proud of what i have achieved as a working mother because it has not been easy.
I have been caring for people for over 20 years starting with my own husband who suffered from Kidney failure most of our married life.
I have always wanted to be a trained nurse but due to family commitments i have always put the idea off due to lack of time.
I instead concentrated on supporting my children but never giving up on my dream. I decided to to take on flexible caring jobs in order to earn a living. I have since worked in hospital and am training to be a nurse, I worked on surgical ward and old people's wards and in emergency department. I have experience working with a wide range of illnesses due to my work experience and training. Working in hospital has taught me lots of skills but also made me awre of my limitations so I know when to ask for help. I love supporting people so they can continue to live independent lives safely. I have experience working as part of a team.
